The theme of the Congress is "From Hemodialysis Unit to ICU"


Hong Kong, a city where the East meets the West, is the most appropriate place for sharing of experience. Hemodialysis (HD) is the preferable renal replacement therapy in most countries. It is important to exchange experience and continue the development in HD research, clinical management and care of HD patients. This Congress is designed to provide a balanced curriculum that will meet the needs of renal health care team and intensivists. The content provides basic training, continuous education, as well as highlights of frontiers of clinical and basic science development related to HD, CRRT and renal aspect of ICU patients. It will also stimulate critical thinking and discussion on controversies in HD and ICU to inspire directions in future research.
